The experience

An experience made to share, made to savour together

Tasting in Pretoria, reimagined. Every tasting is a flight of four handcrafted drinks, served one at a time with artisanal pairings and a quiet, seated rhythm. Coffee tasting, matcha tasting, or the one made with Filipino ube. Less a menu, more a ritual, built to slow the moment and open the senses.

Come with someone you love to talk to. Stay a while. The best part is rarely the drink alone, it is the conversation that grows around it.

The six experiences

Six tastings, one ritual

Three coffee flights, two matcha, and one made with Filipino ube. Four handcrafted drinks each, artisanal pairings, and a rating card to mark your favourites. R150 per person, and worth clearing an afternoon for.

01

Most loved

Signature Latte Tasting

Warm. Comforting. Quietly indulgent.

Velvety espresso, steamed slow and layered with flavours that lean unapologetically into dessert. Four warm lattes, each one a small indulgence, each one made to linger over.

The flight

Milktart · Biscoff · Peppermint Crisp · Zesty Mocha

Served warm · R150pp

02

Iced Latte Tasting

Cool. Playful. Beautifully moreish.

The same crafted espresso, poured over ice and dressed in playful, dessert-led flavours. Light on a warm Pretoria afternoon, quietly decadent to the last sip.

The flight

Caramel · Creme Brulee · Biscoff · Toasted Marshmallow

Served iced · R150pp

03

Warm Matcha Tasting

Earthy. Deliberate. Gently uplifting.

One hundred percent traditional Japanese matcha, whisked warm and smooth, with a soft umami sweetness beneath. Four delicate expressions, each one calm in the cup.

The flight

Vanilla · White Choc · Rose · Hazelnut

Served warm · R150pp

04

Iced Matcha Tasting

Vibrant. Refreshing. Beautifully layered.

Vibrant Japanese green tea over ice, layered with an earthy sweetness that opens as it cools. The brighter, cooler way to savour the ritual.

The flight

Coconut · Vanilla · Strawberry · Toasted Marshmallow

Served iced · R150pp

05

Iced Ube Tasting

Velvety. Pastel. Quietly different.

A pastel-purple latte on ice, made with Filipino ube. Naturally sweet, softly nutty, with hints of vanilla running underneath. The one guests photograph before they sip.

The flight

Hazelnut · Strawberry · Vanilla · Coconut

Served iced · R150pp

06

Infused Tasting

Warming. Characterful. Grown-up.

Our signature coffees infused with the warmth of classic spirits, drawn from flavours built for slow evenings. All of the character, none of the alcohol, sweetened on request.

The flight

Whiskey · Brandy · Marula · Pinotage

Served warm · alcohol-free · R150pp

Why guests love it

Loved around the table

Think wine tasting but for coffee and matcha, each one paired with small nibbles that actually complement what you are drinking. It is interactive and thoughtful in a way that feels intentional, not gimmicky.

It was really interesting to taste the different coffees and pair them with the snacks they served. The staff were very friendly and made the whole experience even better.

Gelika Lubbe · Google review

The tasting was amazing, great way to try new flavors you are not always used to. Will definitely come again.

Before you book

Good to know

Do I need to book a tasting?

Booking ahead is best - seats are limited and tastings are seated, not counter service. Walk-ins are welcome when we have space.

Are the tastings only coffee?

No. Three of the six are coffee based - the Signature Latte, Iced Latte and Infused flights. Two are one hundred percent traditional Japanese matcha, warm or iced, and one is our iced Filipino ube. Iced teas are on the way.

What is included in a tasting?

Four handcrafted drinks served one at a time, artisanal pairings chosen for each drink, and a rating card. R150 per person.

Are the tastings hosted, or do we help ourselves?

Every tasting is hosted. Someone talks you through each drink - what is in it, where it came from, and why it tastes the way it does.

Do the tastings contain allergens?

Tastings may contain dairy, gluten and nuts. Tell us about any allergies when you book and we will let you know what we can adjust.

Can we book for a group?

For six or more, message us on WhatsApp so we can arrange a larger table. Private and bespoke tastings are available on request.

Is the Infused Tasting alcoholic?

No. The Infused Tasting is alcohol-free. The coffees are infused with flavours drawn from classic spirits, with none of the alcohol.
